Privacy

This is a personal site. It does not have accounts, ads, or tracking cookies, and I don't sell or share your information. Here is everything the site does collect and who handles it.

The contact form

If you use the contact form, I receive the name, email address, and message you type in. I use them only to read and reply to your message.

  • Email delivery: your message is delivered to me by Resend, an email delivery service.
  • Spam protection: the form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that you are a person and not a bot. The check may use a short-lived security cookie set by Cloudflare. It is only for telling people from bots, and I do not use it to track you.
  • Abuse limits: to stop repeated submissions, the form briefly stores a count tied to your IP address for about ten minutes, then it expires automatically.
  • Email check: the server looks up whether the domain of the email address you entered can receive mail. Only the domain part is checked.

I keep messages in my email only as long as I need them to reply or keep a reasonable record, and I will delete yours if you ask.

Visitor statistics

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to see overall page views and which pages are read. According to Cloudflare, it does not use cookies or fingerprinting, and does not track individual visitors across sites.

Hosting and security logs

The site is hosted and protected by Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare processes visitors' IP addresses and basic request details to deliver pages and block attacks. SeeCloudflare's privacy policy.

Storage on your device

The site remembers your light or dark theme choice. Some tools and games (such as the IT Skills Kit and the browser games) save things like high scores or whether you've seen a tour in your browser's local storage. That data stays on your own device, is never sent to me, and you can clear it from your browser settings.

Your choices

You can ask me what I have from you, or ask me to delete it, using thecontact form. If you are in the EU, UK, or California, you have additional rights to access, correct, and delete your data, and I will honor those requests the same way.
